The Witch Is IN!
Hi, I’m Leilani. I make potent small batch herbal offerings. Here you’ll find fresh extracts, salves & balms, homespun natural skin care, and even oral care products. Everything that comes from my shop was prepared and packaged by my own two hands. I use the highest quality ingredients and grow many of my own herbs in my home gardens. I sustainably wildcraft with supreme reverence and also support domestic organic herb farmers. I have a deep connection to nature and to all of its creatures. You can usually find me working in my garden, processing orders, wandering the woods, foraging for wild foods, making art, singing or dancing.
I spent my childhood in rural Illinois & my adult life in the city of Chicago making art & music. My interest in herbal medicine came shortly after relocating to Tennessee. Passionflower quite literally spoke to me and a flood of remembering and deep knowing took place. The many gifts and lessons from the plants continue to enrich my daily life, ground me, break me wide open, soften me, teach and guide me. My Chickasaw ancestors lived on this very land. The connection that I feel toward this area in which I now live runs deep within me.
The quality of the ingredients that I put into my herbal craft is of the highest importance to me. I grow my own herbs as much as possible without the use of any chemicals whatsoever. I sustainably wildcraft from pristine locations with extreme reverence. I only buy organic herbs if I choose to outsource. The oils, butters, or any other ingredient in any of my products are always always always organic. The tallow that I use in my body butters is local, and comes from grass-fed pastured animals. The entire reason I started making my own products at all was so that I could ensure the quality of the ingredients going on my skin and into my body.
My mission with Wild Bruja Apothecary is to offer you fresh & potent herbals for you and your family. I am forever a humble student of nature, and my offerings change and grow as I do. I hope to spark some interest for you if you are just beginning to become interested in herbal medicine, medicinal plants, wildcrafting, foraging, wild foods, or are simply interested in making your own natural self-care creations. Thank you for being here with me, and I appreciate your support.
