Salt Of The Earth
Salt Of The Earth
Fresh Herbs & Fungi Seasoning Salt
When you grow loads of herbs in your garden there are definitely some perks! You’ll know that you’ll have many options when it comes to adding flavor to dishes. Yum! I had such an incredible harvest of herbal favorites like Sage, Rosemary, and Oregano this year that I was elated to have enough to share! The herbs in this salt were lovingly tended throughout the summer by my own two hands; which makes this one all the more special to me. You can sprinkle this salt after cooking a wide variety of dishes and you can even add it into soups, stews, and broths. Fresh herbs are so glorious— not only because they are aromatic, contain vitamins and minerals as well as each of their own individual chemical properties, but they also add complexity, interest, and spirit to food. Eating is a prayerful activity in my home. This salt helps me to give thanks for the abundance in my life, and for all of Earth’s wild treasures. I think of it as “gratitude dust.” I’m sentimental, what can I say? My babies are all grown up and have gone off and married some salt. This salt contains so much goodness: Fresh homegrown Sage, Rosemary, Oregano, & Holy Basil. Wildcrafted Hedgenettle, organic Garlic, Reishi Mushroom, wild foraged Lion’s Mane mushroom, and fine grain pure sea salt. I hope to bring a little bit of my flavor magic to your meals—all season long. 2 full ounces in a reusable glass jar.
